Hey guys!

Sp I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting it's because of the holidays :)

I was travelling and I didn't have any internet access :(

So anyways, just to remind you guys again, I'm currently a judge for the modeling competition on Stardoll - Stardoll's Next Top Model. (club: -NextTopModel- )

It's going really good and the club has officially started it's 3rd cycle. :)

Since I was the judge for the 2nd cycle (and I will continue to be ) I examined everyone and noticed that everyone was just so talented! Stardoll has some very creative people :) The 13 girls chosen were completely amazing and it was a blast judging the cycle, giving scores for each task and finally eliminating. (I know, MEAN! XD) But at the end, 3 girls were chosen for the semi-finals:

EnchantedGirl7

Unfortunately, Sweet_gal11 was eliminated and the other 2 girls were left to fight for the title of the next top model. Both of the amazing girls, truly did their best and at the end the winner was chosen: EnchantedGirl7.

Since interviewing the winner is a part of the prizes, I'm here with an excellent interview of EnchantedGirl7, winner of cycle 2 !

Q1 Have you participated in cycle 1?

No, I only just joined the club before cycle 2 applications so it was all new to me.

Q2 When you were a part of the top 13, how did it feel?

It felt really good, I was really happy! I was pretty surprised that out of so many girls my application was picked and I was very grateful, but it was also quite serious. It made me realise I was here for a reason and I needed to put in all of my effort.

Q3 Do you think that the tasks were tough?

It totally depends. Some tasks I found quite simple because they were to do with my interests but others I had no idea what to do and wasnt very pleased with my final result. Overall, yes the tasks are hard! You need to be really creative and think out of the box.

Q4 Who, according to you, was a tough competition? and why?

To be honest, I cant really tell. Everyone was amazing! I thought I had no chance against sweet_gal11 because she was medoll of the month and seemed very experienced (she came third in the cycle.) Also bearbear1234, who I was up against in the final, had some outstanding ideas and was really sweet. I definitely thought she would win.

Q5 what was it like when you found out that you were in the top 2?

It was amazing! I had no idea I would get so far and was pretty proud of myself as I had never done anything like that before. It was really confidence boosting and was very exciting because if I won there was a chance I could kick start my modelling career.

Q6 Was the last task tough?

Yeah it was. I`ve always loved Lady Gaga and as I was reading the task, tons of possibilites were fizzling in my mind. The final task as not one of my best though, as I`ve never been very good at sort of portraying feeling in a scenery, but luckily my outfit and makeup helped me a lot.

Q7 The winning moment: How did it feel? What was your reaction?

As I scrolled down to see who the winner was, I felt it was unlikely that I would win. I really didnt think I stood a chance. It was a huge shock! I just started grinning and couldnt stop :D It was an amazing feeling. If I didnt win, I think I`d still be feeling really proud of myself as I`ve never really been the competitive sort. Im more sort of dreamy and dopey!

Q8 In your own words, tell us what a model is

I think a model is someone who is not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside too. Her beauty inside must shine through. Beauty is not being tall and slim with big blue eyes and glossy hair. I mean if barbie was real with proportions like the doll, she wouldnt be able to live. Sadly, in the fashion industry they are only considering the outside beauty but just be confident and have fun. That is what makes a person beautiful. Though, I didnt really answer your question properly. A model needs to stand out from the crowd and embrace there flaws. Take Lindsey Wixson for example, with her plump beestung lips and gap in her teeth, she stands out from the crowd and is now one of the biggest names in fashion!

Q9 Last, Please give all the readers and wannabe models a piece of advice.

Hmm, what can I say? Just take a risk, be creative as possible and have fun while your doing it. Researching the topic always helps and looking for inspiration is something that helped me a lot too. You have to be different and stand out.

PassionModels : A new beginning

Hey guys! I just couldn't wait and so today, on 20th December 2011 I launched

my modeling club, PassionModels. It's new so it's not the best but I'll try :D

Of course, I still haven't decided the prizes, I still need sponsors and stuff

Like I mentioned last week, I really want to start a modeling competition and I need sponsors, judges etc. to help me out.

I'm so sorry I haven't been so regular. Actually, my net connection really sucks and I just come on for a while on Stardoll and stuff. So Yeah xD

Well, Like I told you guys before I'm the judge of the modeling competition, Stardoll's Next Top Model and I'm thrilled to tell you all that Cycle 2's winner is about to be announced!!

The top 3 have already been selected and those gorgeous girls keep getting better! It's really a tough competition!

The tasks are amazing and judging the competition is just so much fun! I'm so glad that this blog is sponsoring the competition. You guys should seriously check the club out as you can win some really amazing prizes.

So like I interviewed the previous interview I'll be doing so for Cycle 2's winner as well. So stay tuned for more updates on the winner and for the exclusive interview.

Modeling competitions are really fun and cool. They give an amazing opportunity to all those wanna-be Stardoll models out there. It also helps to get better in modeling.

I've noticed that a lot of people like models who have light, natural make-up and hair. So don't over do it when you're entering a competition because natural is always the best. Also, during the competition you'll be asked several times to change the make-up of your doll. So try to keep it simple.

Make sure you choose the perfect features. Remember, keep it simple yet unique.

Have a wide range of clothing. You'll be asked to experiment a lot. Also, make sure you're good at sceneries. It's all about the creativity.

Make sure you be true about everything you write in your application. Keep it short and sweet. But don't be too straight-forward.

Make sure you have a little experience, it's what the main thing. And if you don't just be truthful. You might just get lucky ;)

I really hope this helps all the people out there wanting to take part. I've observed this and I hope these little points help you guys if you've failed to be one of the contestants of a modeling competition

Q1 When exactly did you take part in the competition?

A1: I entered the competition about a month ago. It was the first modelling competition I had ever entered on stardoll so I thought I would just give it a go.

Q2 Where you nervous when you got to know the rest of the contestants?

A2: Yes! I get nervous over almost everything no matter how small or irrelevant. Getting to know people as talented as that just adds to the pressure!

Q3 What did you think of all the tasks? Were they tough?

A3: Yeah, most of the tasks I found challenging, but I enjoy a good challenge! I want to give credit to reily-smiley for coming up with the tasks. You are a wonderful manager!

Q4 If so, any one in particular?

A4:The task I found most difficult has to be the magazine cover, yet the strange thing is I felt that was one of best pieces. I put a lot of effort into that task.

Q5 What did it feel like to be a part of the final 2?

A5:I was so happy and grateful to be in the final 2. Honestly I was never expecting to get that far and I was just so pleased and thankful!

Q6 Was the last task, the one that determined the winner, tough?

A6:To be perfectly honest, no. I didn't find the last task hard at all. I was so happy that I had got that far into the competition that I would have walked away happy with second place. I felt that the task was easy because I was just being creative. There were no rules or regulations. I was doing what I love best which is creating something.

Q7 What was the feeling like, to win?

A7: I felt extremely happy inside when I won. I was up against a tough competitor and I had many doubts of winning. Ecstatic! :-)

Q8 last but not the least, any special message for all the dollies out there who want to win a competition?

A8:To all you dollies out there, Most importantly, be good people. Being good people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind. Smile at the people who put you down. Somebody must have made them cold. People make mistakes, that's part of begin human. And in the words of Taylor Swift " Don't you worry your pretty little mind People throw rocks at things that shine."

Stardoll deactivated my account. When I try to sign it, it says "This account is not active." I had just become superstar again and I am "Stardoll Royalty." I can't believe this happened to me. I have tons of rare clothes on there! I don't know what to do. I wrote Stardoll, but I doubt that they will listen.

Feature: Excessive Makeup Block

Hello dolls.

Stardoll added a new "feature" in the beauty parlor. When you have too much of a certain makeup item on, a little purple blocked sign comes up. In the picture below, I was putting on lipstick and after a few coats it came up. I noticed that it comes up for most makeup items.

Personally, I wish that we could put on as many coats or layers as out hearts desire, but stardoll obviously has a different plan.

Stardoll has been busy lately, creating a new feature: StarMovie. Stardoll Royalty will be the first to try it, of course, and for a discounted price. At first, I was confused as to how it will differ from our sceneries, but the spoiler gave away a few things to convince me that this is totally different. As you can see, there is a "live recording" button or feature to it, which makes it a Stardoll movie maker.

Hey guys! I'm extremely sorry I haven't been so active. But I stayed away from stardoll for a pretty long time! Anyways, I love the star coins . It enables the Non-SS to buy clothes and you can earn them in many ways. Apart from all that, SS can now convert the starcoins to stardollars which is better because I have so many starcoins and I have like, 1 SD xD

But that function is only available in 4 days!

HB's are amazing. Most of them are swimsuits :/

Killah is 25% off! So hurry SS before they're all out again :D

Antidote is amazing!! But I don't have the money to buy ;( And it's all out except few decorative items. Young Hollywood is also something like LE and Antidote. The collection's good ;)

The new Limited Edition was released into the Starplaza today. Many of the items are sold out already. The theme for this collection is Electro Lux, featuring many neon and bright disco colors. I noticed that this particular collection was pretty small, compared to some of the previous ones. It also had many cheaper items, like the assortment of different colored bikinis.

So I really kinda laughed at Stardoll's poll? Willow Smith's new video? No offence but I don't like Willow Smith stardoll and there's no option that says "Not At All!"Just noticed there is a new store in the Star Plaza.So,I have to say,hats off to the Non-SS.It's so hard to buy stuff that non-SS I mean, just because I have not renewed my SS for a while ,I feel like so bad!! All the awesome stuff.LE decor !!! AHHHH!! Last time I couldn't buy a PIECE OF ANTIDOTE OR LE .Is stardoll honestly fair? I mean,they are reducing prices and they had the Valentine's Day offer and then they're trying to get more SS costumers and stuff still,what about people who can't convince their parents? Black Friday is my favorite shopping day of the year. In the US, it is the day after Thanksgiving which is always Friday. I will be waking up at around 2AM just to go shopping. And that is normal compared to people camping out at electronic stores for about 2 days.

Stardoll released new LE yesterday. In my opinion, this was not one of the best collections of LE. There were a few that I really liked, but as always, they were sold out before I got to them. The prices are not very high and there are still quite a few pieces available, if you are interested.

Guide on Saving Stardollars

I was reading the comments and people said they wanted to see more advice and less stardoll news. I decided to write a guide on how to save stardollars.

Before you buy an item, think to yourself "Would I ever wear this in an outfit?" If the answer is maybe, don't take the risk.
Remember to always use your play and earn before you spend your real money.
Just because it's Hotbuys doesn't mean you have to buy it.
When you see an item you like in one of the main shops (Bisou, Fallen Angel, etc...), wait for the end of the month to see if they will be in the monthly sale.
When buying a rare item, visit multiple people or Rares of Stardoll to ensure that you are getting the best price you can.
Check references before buying to make sure you do not get scammed out of your stardollars.
When selling an item, sell it for a reasonable price. If you sell it too low, it will sell quickly but you wont make a profit. If you sell it too high, it wont sell at all.
If you are non-ss, save your 1sd you get from play and earn to buy that special item you want.
For superstars, when you get your monthly allowance, budget another allowance so you will still have stardollars left at the end of the month.
When LE or ANITODTE comes out, it doesnt mean you have to buy it all. Buy only the piece you absolutely love.

I'm just making this post if anyone wants to become a writer at Gossip-Stardoll. I know I wrote one before, but that was too long and didn't exactly point out what I'm looking for, so I just took these questions from a post Fiona wrote ages ago. Read below and answer in comments. Thanks!

1. Have you used blogger.com before? We need to know this because we need someone who is reasonably experienced at using blogger. If you haven't used blogger before, maybe you should try it out and apply next time.

2. Do you know how to add pictures to posts on blogger? The reason for this question is pretty obvious. :)

3. Are you reasonably experienced with taking screenshots and editing them? We need you to be able to produce pictures like we have on most of our posts. This is because posts are much more easy and fun to read if they have pictures. People get turned off by big blocks of writing with no pictures.

4. Do you have a good standard of English? We want to see well-written posts. We don't mind the odd grammar or spelling mistake, but we definitely don't want to see posts written in 'txt tlk'.

5. How often do you come on Stardoll? We want someone who logs on a lot and gets all the Stardoll news and gossip as it happens, not a week later :)

6. How often would you write posts for Gossip-Stardoll? We want to see a lot of posts, but only if you have something good to write about. We would love 1-3 posts a day, but if you can't do that, we don't want to see posts about boring topics, or just saying you're bored. You don't need to do 1-3 everyday, it's just a rough guideline.

7. Do you write for your own or someone elses blog/magazine? We want someone who will write posts exclusive to us. It's alright if you do write for someone else as long as you write different posts for both, as we don't want to have the same articles as another site. You can leave a link to a blog you've written for so we can see your writing style.

8. Why do you want to write for Gossip-Stardoll? Just a few sentences to let us know why we should choose you over everyone else.If you want to write for us for the fame or so you can advertise your club/blog/magazine, then don't bother applying. We want to deliver high quality gossip and news, we don't want our readers to be constantly advertised at.

Answer all questions truthfully in a comment, and don't forget to use your Stardoll name so we know who you are!

Charlotte's "death"

As you've probably heard about Charlotte's(AKA N1mka4eva) "death", then you probably were in shock and went to her Guestbook to pay your respect. If you don't know what happened, you can read about it HERE on Perez.

Servati, who is also believed to have been Teale/Hifof, one of Stardoll's most crazy members, posted in Charlotte's guestbook that there had been some big train crash going to Paris, where Charlotte is gone on Holiday. As for the people who still believe that Charlotte is actually dead, keep in mind that this "crash" has not been reported on the news or anywhere(Not that I've seen anyway), so really it's just a hoax. Assumptions are that this crazy stunt pulled by Servati was her claim to fame again, and clearly, it worked as we're all blogging about it now.

Oh, and just so you know, things will not be cleared up until Saturday/Sunday, when Charlotte returns.

Stardoll just answered some questions on their official blog, and here's the answers to them:

How do I enter?

In the next day or so, the Miss Stardoll World page will go live on stardoll.com. You will be able to enter there at a click of a button.

Can boys enter the contest?

Yes of course, boys can enter too!

Why is my country not on the list?

We have limited the number of participating countries so that we have enough time to check out the ‘Suite Style’ of all the creative participants. We hope that all of you dollies out there enjoy this event and help us make it bigger next year!

Can I be Miss Stardoll World if my country is not on the list?

Actually, yes you can! In October we will introduce a separate Miss Stardoll World WILDCARD contest for the rest of the world, where winners will go directly through to the Miss Stardoll World Final. More details on the Wildcard Contest will be introduced at a later date.

Do I have to be Superstar to enter?

No everybody can enter, both Superstars and Non-Superstars!

How do you select the country finalists?

We can´t give away all of the Stardoll jury secrets, but we can tell you that the most important thing is to be a good Stardoll member. Be creative and active on the site, adhere to the code of conduct by having a clean Stardoll account (no spam, warnings, bad behavior) – and amazing style of course!

What do I do after I have entered?

Make sure that your MeDoll and Suite is all dolled up. We will be busy the next couple of months checking all your suites (yes ALL of them) and selecting 18 finalists for each country. The finalists will be announced around the middle of October. While you´re waiting, please check out the special Miss Stardoll World Collection in Starplaza, and visit the Miss Stardoll World Club to find out the latest contest gossip.

Will the special Miss Stardoll World Collection in Starplaza be available to all countries?

Absolutely!

Boys can enter AND Non-Superstars? Wow, they're being super nice ;) Are you entering? I know I am!

MORE UPDATES: Stardoll just sent out a message to stardoll members and you can now enter the competition! Just enter your name, age, why you think you should win, and what your fashion style is. Judging will take place in October, so you have time to do up your suite all fancy ;)

And for people thinking they can enter numerous times with fake accounts, think again. Participating Stardolls must have:

A valid account with a confirmed email address.
A good clean Stardoll account(No spam, warnings, bad behaviour)
At least 200 Starpoints.

Stardoll just revealed on their official blog about the Miss Stardoll World competition, and it seems like a great opportunity! Here's what they had to say:

Stardolls from any of the following countries will be able to compete. USA, UK, Poland, Ireland, France, Australia, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Netherlands, Turkey, Portugal, Finland, Russia, Spain, Greece, Saudi Arabia.
18 Stardolls from each of these countries will be hand-picked for the local finals to be held in October. We hear our judges are scouting for finalists already, so make sure your Suite is sweet and your MeDoll is dolled-up!
1 winner from each country will go through to the Miss Stardoll World Final at the end of the year.
Prizes have not been confirmed, but we’re hearing a 1 Year Superstar Membership for the overall winner, plus tons of SDs and glamorous outfits. Oh, and of course a majestic crown and sash!

Wow, 1 year Superstar? Hope I can enter ;) Hahaha! I'm betting those "glamorous outfits" will soon turn into the whole Lottery dress craze. Well, unless they're ugly. They also mentioned that more info. will be released later this week, and to keep an eye on your inbox.

IdentiTEE Is Out

Hello dolls.

I don't know if you have noticed, but the new store is out. IdentiTEE is a very cheap store with prices from 1-4 stardollars. You can get anything you want or even two things from that store with your daily Play & Earn money. As you might guess from the price, the clothes are not that amazing. It looks like something that can be done in stardesign. I did notice that all of the shirts have the same shape as some of the Antidote shirts. Here it is:

This blog has over 1000 followers, yet, no one seems to be active. It saddens me as I'm trying my best to bring it back and it just feels like I'm writing to myself all the time. I've added more new stuff to the blog(see tabs above)although none of them have launched yet, but I want to know, what would YOU like to see on Gossip-Stardoll? Anything you want, comment below. I want our followers input so that this blog can be big again.

P.S. If you look at the right sidebar, you'll see that I'm still looking for writers to help me out with the blog. Anyone can apply, just send me a friend request. Stardoll released this picture over on the Official Stardoll Blog, about a new store coming in a few days, called identiTEE. This is what they said about it:

"Some people wear their hearts on their sleeves, at identiTEE (the new store dedicated to slogan t-shirts) you’ll get the chance to wear yours on a TEE. As you can see, the store is T-less right now, but we’re told the grand opening is only days away and that the first batch of designs will rock your world. We can’t wait!"

Herve Leger Tribute

Stardoll released a new tribute shop today, and this time it's Herve Leger. The store is mostly all dresses and shoes, except for the one two-piece outfit. I, personally, love the store. The dresses are simple, yet sophisticated at the same time. It has been out for only a few hours and already everyone has been complaining about the prices. I don't blame them. The prices range from 16sd for shoes to 35sd for a dress. What can I say, fashion comes with a price.
